Frequently asked

Everything parents ask.

  • Will my kid actually pay attention for 45 minutes?

1:1 with a real teacher is structurally different from a YouTube class. The teacher reads your kid's attention in real time, changes pace, asks direct questions. Average kid is fully present for the full session by class two. If yours isn't, we tell you honestly and we refund.

  • My kid is in grade 4. Is this the right age?

The 6-week financial-literacy program is designed for grades 3–8. The curriculum adapts by grade band — a fourth grader does the "what is money" map with stickers, an eighth grader does it with a real budgeting spreadsheet.

  • What if we hate it after one class?

The first class is free. If you continue and your kid doesn't love it by the second paid class, we refund both. We mean this and we've honored it every time. We'd rather lose a customer than keep one who doesn't want to be here.

  • How are tutors vetted?

Every educator passes an identity check, a background check, and a teaching trial with a real student before they are paired with your kid. We share the teacher's name and a short bio before the first session.

  • Can I sit in on a lesson?

Yes — the demo lesson is designed with you in the room. After enrollment, you can sit in any session you want, no notice required. We also send a Friday email summary every week with what was taught and what the kid struggled with.

  • How does scheduling work?

You pick a weekly slot after the demo. Same teacher, same time every week. If you need to reschedule, you can move within the same week without losing the class.
